Cleaned in preparation for a new surface on 6/12/26. Clearing debris to facilitate proper drainage.

Here is the state of the courts prior to cleaning.

Here the court cleaning is in progress. You can see the difference along the fence line where debris was cleared by the playground and where it has not yet been cleared further away.

A small amount of debris against the fence line creates a damn. Without proper drainage the courts will develop mold at an accelerated rate.

The extent of the damn can be seen better from this angle.

First, the debris against fence is dislodged.

Next the debris is pushed through the fence. Now the court drains properly as seen in the photo.

After removing the debris the entire court is rinsed and is now ready for a new surface.

Here is the debris field that was pushed through the fence by the playground.

As discussed that debris was cleared.

Here is the condition of the courts before cleaning

This was the amount of debris along some of the fence line.

Before each court could be cleaned the debris needed to be removed. The photo shows how much debris was present on the courts.

Next the courts were cleaned with low pressure. You can see that there is still mold present on the surface after this step, but not nearly as much as before.

Next the court is cleaned chemically.

Now the court is cleaned again with low pressure. You can there is now no mold present on the section of court that has been fully cleaned.

Here the courts are finished.

Here is Ellenberger Park on 5/22/26. The material against the fence line here has been there long enough for plants to develop roots and grow into the court.

Here the debris has been removed from Ellenberger Park. Notice how plants have been able to take hold in the court surface.
